Sikkim - Adventure Tour Darjeeling, popularly known as a jewel in the crown of the east Himalayas, has been destination for the nature lovers. Dotted with world famous tea gardens, the hill town, though dogged by water scarcity, is being frequented by foreign tourists for a joy ride on its toy train run by Darjeeling Himalayas railway that has been awarded world heritage status by UNESCO.
Some call it “ paradise for shopping and a kaleidoscope of Indian, Chinese and Tibetan cultures, and no tourists would miss the sunrise over Mt Everest and the Kanchendzonga. There are many more major attractions to see around Darjeeling.
Detailed Daywise Itinerary
Pick up from Bhudrapur airport / Bagdogra / NJP Station. Meet the guide at the airport and drive to Darjeeling(140 km/4 hrs). Overnight hotel.
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak. The view is spectacular on a clear weather day. On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. Afternoon visit to Rock Garden & Ganga Maya Lake Overnight at Hotel.
Today, visit to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing, Gumbu Rock site and Tibetan Refugee self-help (Closed on Sunday) Center Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast Transfer from Darjeeling to Gangtok on the way (Optional White River Rafting at Testa River) ( 115km/04 hrs). Overnight hotel.
Early morning sightseeing of Rumtek Monastery and then proceed for sightseeing of Kanchejunga View Point, Drul-Chorten, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology and Handicraft and Handloom Center. Check in hotel and evening Free to explore Gangtok.
Today you will take an excursion trip to Tshangu Lake (departure in the morning)- situated at a height of 3,780 m. with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. A small temple is constructed on the lakeside and beautiful flowers & Alpine vegetation grow around the lake.
Drive to Pemayangtse (135 km/5 hrs). Check in hotel. Evening visit to Pemayangtse Monastery. Overnight hotel
Drive to Yuksom on way visit Khecheopari Lake , Khecheopalri Lake is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake. It is believed that your wish will come true if you make one in front of this lake. There is myth that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, a bird immediately picks it up. A further drive takes you to Yuksom - the meeting place of three monk and the first capital of Sikkim . This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Drive to Kalimpong. (115 km/4 hrs) Check in hotel. Evening free to explore the small hilly town on your own. Overnight hotel. Early morning, drive to your destination either Bhudrapur Airport Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station Trips ends!

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
30 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
20 days to 18 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
14 days to 16 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Refund
In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
